#64 Honey Teriyaki Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
Put all ingredients into a skillet; except chicken, stir.
  1. Cut up chicken into cubes out in sauce. Place the stove on medium high heat for about five minutes. Stirring occasionally.

  1. Crank the heat up to high, stirring occasionally. Cook until sauce has reduced. This process can take between 10 and 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Let sit for five minutes before serving. Serve over rice.

I really liked the flavor of this one but there wasn’t enough sauce for me. The chicken was well coated but I like extra for my rice. Dan and I discussed maybe cooking the chicken a little first and then adding the sauce. So, that it doesn’t reduce as much.
